Product Marketing Specialist

BeLuce Canada Inc. (Beghelli Canada) is an emergency lighting leader committed to Canadian manufacturing including designing, building, and customizing products.

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Product Marketing Specialist to join our team, reporting to the Marketing Manager in our Markham office.  As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in product planning, development, and market strategy for both Emergency and Luce lighting. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan the product lifecycle for product lines (Emergency & Luce lighting) and establish a strategy to ensure successful category performance for each line
  • Identify opportunities and weaknesses within your product lines and work with sales to develop successful strategies including promotional activity
  • Conduct market analysis as required and evaluate the competitive landscape to identify, develop and maintain successful product positioning strategies within your product portfolio
  • Establish pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and upper management teams
  • Provide market insight (competition, market trends, customer needs, technology trends) and create directions for product line development
  • Contribute to new product design & ideas and lead the new product development process
  • Work in conjunction with sales to ensure proper forecasting and inventory levels for all finished goods including accessories within product lines
  • Create and deliver product presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate and create content copy for social media and newsletters
  • Additional tasks/duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Marketing or another related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in product marketing/management
  • Lighting industry experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing and B2B environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the complete MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as strong computer skills
  • Self-starter with solid verbal & written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills who is capable of taking initiative to identify & resolve problems
  • Strong work ethic & collaboration skills with a proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams and independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP software is an asset
  • French bilingual is a bonus
